Severn Biotech's liquid Acrylamide solutions are made from the highest quality pure materials to exact standards. This ensures crystal clear electrophoresis gels which give reliable and reproducible results for the separation of DNA and Protein Bio-molecules.  The range encompasses 40% and 30% concentrates with cross-linker ratios of 19:1, 29:1 and 37.5:1, which satisfy the majority of Acrylamide Gel formulations used.

Filtered through o.45 and 0.2 micron glass fibre and nylon filters to eliminate particulate matter.

The shelf life is Guaranteed for 1 year when stored at 20 degrees C in a dark area and longer if stored at 4 degrees C. All solutions may need de-gassing before use to remove any dissolved gases. Oxygen is known to inhibit polymerisation and can account for gel to gel band migration differences due to incomplete polmerisation when casting gels.
